About this episode
Organizers from several cities in Mexico and Guatemala talk with Mexi about PizzaDAO's Global Pizza Day, the annual celebration on May 22. From Monterrey, Mérida, Mexico City, Puebla, and Guatemala, they explain how they prepare their events and how PizzaDAO funds each city with a base budget of 625 dollars and sponsorships from groups like Nouns DAO and Unlock Protocol. They agree the goal is bringing newcomers into the technology with free pizza, while favoring local pizzerias over chains.
